Clock resetting after I turn 99 RX 300 off, please help.
Hello all.
I drive a 1999 RX 300 with 62,000 miles and everytime I turn the vehicle off and restart the clock reads 1A.M., everything else seems normal. It still has a Carmax warranty so I can get repair work done if need be. Has this happened to anyone else, or does anyone have an opinion on what the problem could be?
I searched the forum archives to see if anyone has had a similar problem and could not find a thread. So I was hoping that anyone with any info would respond.
Thanks and enjoy Football Sunday!!!!!!

Next time, DO NOT Start/crank the engine. Turn the switch to "ON"/RUN and check your clock. If the clock has reset, the problem is with the clock, or with the clock power ckt.
If the clock is ok, then turn the switch to start. If the clock resets during starting, you battery has gotten weak.
