Default 5000 mile service

What needs to be done for the 5000 mile service? I would check the maintenance book but it's back in Texas

The 6 month / 5000 mile complimentary service does not include an oil change but does include rotating the tires, inspect and adjust fluid levels, reset maintenance reminder, inspect the brakes, wiper blades, road test and most important check the drivers side floor mat. The floor mat was a huge issue years ago but not any more as long as you keep them fastened in place.

I thought the tyres couldn't be rotated, due to being different sizes?

If you also get the maintenance package does that cover the oil change? I thought oil changes where every 10k?

I think that all of the new cars come with complimentary first service/oil vhange/inspection/tire rotation.
First service call is kinda a bull****...more so just to rotate tires on certain cars and non else.
I skipped mine since "no can do tyre rota"
My car has 6800m and I'm doing my first service call tmrw.I just like it that way

When they perform the service they will reset the light. If you're asking if you can reset the light, I believe you can through the main menu.. I know I can on my wife's RX F-Sport.

You can also set when the light is to come on to remind you of an oil change.
