In the end, it really comes down to what you think you'll like. I owned a electric blue honda at one point until i got tired of it after a yr when it drew so much attention and thats what i considered when purchasing mine. The USB sure is stunning and catches your eye but I ultimately went with Ultra White because i thought it would be a cleaner and more neutral color in the long run.
If I was going to lease the car I would get a flashier color. I figured that if I really loved it, I'd buy it out at the end of the lease. My "flashy" color of choice would be red though.
Both are spectacular. The USB on the RC reminds me of the best color on the MK4 Supras, Royal Sapphire Pearl. Gorgeous!
But... have you seen the Ultra White in person? If you haven't, you must! It is probably the nicest "white" I've ever seen on a car. It's very rich and luxurious looking paint. Even as white, I would consider it a bit flashy. That's how nice it is.
I'd go with USB. It's a stunning color, and I don't think I would get tired of it. It has deep hues and changes with the lighting. You can also get the beautiful Rioja red interior with USB. I've seen pics of an RCF with USB and red interior and it's just gorgeous.
1) Color isn't available on the IS models (in the US)
2) Since the car is leased, i wanted to go with the flashier color
3) Even after all my mods, the #1 compliment i get on the car is the color
4) To me, i feel like this color was made for the RC
I had the same debate.. i went with white/red but USB was very close second choice.
i went with white/red because i really wanted a red interior and i think white compliments that very well.
i'm not feeling the current edition of USB. the ones on 2IS and ISF are awesome. for some reason the current edition looks too dark, and looks really weird when matching up with all that chrome pieces on the RC coupe, but for each their own. between white and USB, i'd pick white.
Like everyone said this is purely a personal decision. You have to go with your gut on this one. I decided against white/black/silver/etc, cause I figured those are the colors we will see most on the road. And like everyone said, the UltraSonicBlueBOoOOom is more unique.
But seriously, dont base your decision on us, its your fitty grand not ours.
I went with USB + Playa. Absolutely gets a ton of attention. Dealer had a black, a molten, and white FSports. When my custom order showed up on the truck, the crowd kept building.
