How does it look in the trunk? Bright enough for you? I'm still contemplating on what to get for there

It's brighter than the OEM one, and a whiter light. Most of these are 5 SMD, and I think there is enough space at least in the trunk area holder to fit one that has 10 SMD on one device.

You could always take off the clear cover from the trunk light to get more light as it acts as a diffuser. I accidentally forgot to put mine back on and noticed it was way brighter. Just a thought or idea, whichever you like.

I have 168 led light bulb that i have used for 2012 TL license plate lights. Is this fine to put 168 led to rc trunk light which is supposed to be 194? I have researched for both and 168 and 194 are same size but 168 is slightly brighter.

Yes that is fine as they are interchangeable according to many sites.

Thanks for this post. The info is very helpful. I wish the footwell lights would stay on in low dim during driving. I will personally try and see if my IS led door lights will fit in my girls RC and that way we will all know for sure. I have the ones the guy mentioned earlier in this thread that replaces the entire housing and not the bulbs. Theyre BRIGHT!!! So sick.

You're welcome, and damn those are bright compared to stock. I think I might have to change my LED out to those. Direct fit?

Love your garage floor coating.

Well for my IS yes, direct replacement. Lens and all. The leds are attached. Really really happy with them. We shall see about the RC but I wont be able to test it out until next week. My girl and I live in different cities so wont see her til next week.

Thanks, the floor took me about a whole week from start to finish. Prep, paint, dry, gloss, dry... pain in the ****... this is the 2nd house I've done and I wouldn't do it again. Its starting to chip and nearly un-repairable. Id rather do the interlocking flooring now. More durable and easier to lay out.

Let us know if it's a direct fit when you try it on the RC. I heard from others that did it agree with you that the painted flooring is a PITA. I'm also looking at the interlocking floor, but dang that puppy is expensive. For a 400 sq. ft. garage it's about $ 1,500.

Take it from me, if you actually do work in the garage and work on your car, it can become damaged an when it does its hard to repair patchy flaked up areas since you have to buy a whole kit to repair small areas. My jack stands dug into the floor and chipped it up. The area around it now is getting larger. I don't get hot tire pickup, but it isn't as heavy duty as one is led to believe.

Thanks for the real world review. I work on numerous cars that I own, and some are long term projects on jack stands so the interlocking floor tiles are it.

Alright boys, its confirmed now. The iJDM Toy replacement door lamps DO fit perfectly into the RC's door panel. The plug is exactly the same. Took me 5 seconds to pop out the lights from the door and plug in this new one. It looks amazing in place of that stock nasty. I had the old stock door lenses with LED bulbs in them from my IS and they fit perfectly too. THEY ARE EXACTLY THE SAME. I dont know why it has a different part number than my IS. Anyhow just ordered a 2nd set from Amazon for $25 for her car since I took mine back. FYI to get the lens out, I used a panel popper and pryed it out. I did from the bottom side of the door panel and not the front so any imperfections from prying it out wont be noticed. Enjoy.
