Remote starting the car w/o using the Enform Remote App.


Press the Lock button 3 times, and on the third time hold until the parking lights begin to flash, release the lock button.


The vehicle will start within a few seconds.


Pressing the Unlock button or opening the door will shut off the car.


Try it and see how far away you can be to remote start the car with the key Fob and report back.

They never told me either, especially the Technology Specialist. Now the Enform Remote I knew about before I received my car. I'm going to see how far the remote will remote start today and report back.

I don't think everyone has this feature. You must have the remote starter option. All 2015 have Enform Remote though.

I don't have the remote start option as it is not listed on the window sticker, and it's not even listed in the configuration program on the Lexus site. Yes, we all have the Enform Remote option, and I'm pretty sure we all can remote start our cars with the Key Fob. All you have to do is go out and try it, nothing ventured, nothing gained. If you don't want to, you don't have to. It's just another option that we have.

I did a test today and was able to remote start the car from about 100 feet away while walking towards it in a parking garage.

I know why don't I just use the Enform Remote. Well sometimes it is easier to just take the fob out, press one button three times and have the car start.

If I use my phone then I have to unlock it, get to the App, put in the pin, answer a couple of questions, and hit the start button, and then wait. By that time I'm already at the car. Its also safer not to remote start it if you think it might not be there when you get to it, just saying.

I guess I need to spend more time trying to figure this out for my F because the damn thing keeps saying it doesn't recognize my VIN Number... WTF?

Push the SOS button above your head. Someone from Enform will help you to activate your account. Once it is done, you can use the remote start funtion with the key. Good luck.
