Does Edmunds source from LFS for their residuals?
Also do residuals vary per region?
Because I know TX isn't in CA's region which a majority of these super competitive leases are coming from.

Yes, pretty sure that's their source.
No, however MFs sometimes do.

Money Factor is based on your credit rating and ability to work with the dealer to get it lower. The residual is set by the leasing company and not negotiable to my knowledge.
36 is months a very popular lease.

I'm thinking 36mo is the sweet spot.

CA has a lot of dealers to pit one against another to get a great lease, the discounts they are getting on these cars is also great compared to other regions. That's why they get the best leases.

Congrats on the purchase. Looks like you were able to get a much better deal than you originally expected.

I am almost tempted (if I can) to lease out of state in California and then pay Texas taxes once the vehicle is registered here. Has anyone ever done that before?

Well if thats possible I will definitely be looking into that then!
The only downside would be the shipping cost from CA to TX which would be at least 1k I would assume.

Smile RC 350 F sport bought last weekend

Bought an f-sport red interior, atomic silver for $46.8K

w/ sport + nav / ML sound system + moonroof + fog lamps + parking assist + cargo crap they add on
last weekend in NorCal. Cash deal.

I love everything about it but it didnt have the dynamic steering. Any thoughts on if it is worth it trading it in for this feature?

C & D tested the car this month with the RC with the rear steering, they were not too impressed with the handling. Car had understeer issues according to them. They were not sure if it was the rear steering that caused it or just a bad suspension setup in general. Great price on the car by the way.

Shipping from LA to Indiana in enclosed transport is running me $1700. Not the cheapest, but its better than open transport and I booked directly through a carrier. Saves hassle of having a broker give the load to someone else.
