LED Headlights

Okay, 200 people have viewed this thread and no one has replied. I'm assuming that for most of the owners of the RC350 and RC350 F Sport, this is their first car with LED headlights so I'm wondering why no one has anything to say about the potential improvement of light output with this technology. Can someone express their opinion?

I would assume they are better. If you haven't already, I'd google the difference between the two, or ask your local dealership. However, I think the CT200h has LED lights as well... but I'm not sure. Good luck!

LED headlights are evolving and I would expect to be improving, but in the past Lexus HID headlights were better than the LED's in terms of lighting performance. The performance of the headlights are all that I care about. But, others value the actual look of the headlights on the car and that is where the flexibility of the LED lights allows for cool looking installations.

I have the LED headlights in my IS, and HID in my RX and past TSX.
I wouldn't really say they are better or worse, just different. The cutoff is very sharp on the LED lights, and they feel a bit more crisp and white. I would not say they are brighter, but they do a very good job of putting the light down on the road, rather than just soaking everything ahead of you with light, if that makes sense.
