Thanks for the folks who replied about there really being an RC F. I was thinking as a devil's advocate what if those camo spy shots were really this RC350, then there's no evidence of a RC F.
But hopefully there is more evidence. I hope so, I have a 2008 IS F and want to upgrade.
both "RC-F" and "RC350" brands were trademarked at the same time
My edit of what the front end should look like. I think it'd be drop dead gorgeous with something like this
so being that a few to many of the members here have good network ties with Lexus USA and maybe evenLexus Japan, why can't we (as enthusiasts following this vehicle from a pencil drawing) petition somehow for Lexus to use the horizontal grill fix above rather than the current vertical. Voices are what changes things and am sure if they hear the distaste for the vertical grill, they'll look into creating the horizontal grill instead?
people who are complaining about the grille have to realize its almost straight off of the LF-LC concept
granted, the proportions are MUCH better on the LF-LC but the chrome outline/shape of the spindle is very close. also notice the side openings are, again, nigh exact in shape. i suspect the F Sport version with the one piece mesh grille will look better.
And to think this is STOCK. I'm already thinking full BBK, lowered, Concave wheels, exhaust, maybe even fender flares…. Blackout the trim….
fender flares? don't know about that, but with you on the rest. I do think some 4-5" polished lips on the rear wheels of this RC and the horizontal grill would look REALLY impressive to me tho.

Grille on the RC is very different - much more exaggerated, and the entire interior of the grill has different shapes - vertical slats, splitter bar, etc. LF-LC is more "hour glass" and all mesh interior.
