It's the other way around for me--I think of the GS when the GX is mentioned, and the LS when the LX is mentioned. I guess it comes down to which model came first. The RX came first in this case and unfortunately that gives the RC an unsporty, FWD-biased vibe to me.

Following up on news regarding the RC350 being trademarked in Australia, we find that, unlike the CT300 which was only trademarked in Australia, Toyota Motor Corporation applied on November 2, 2012 for the trademark RC350 in the United States for use in association with automobiles and structural parts thereof.
United States Trademark Application No. 85770097 for RX350.
No word on the trademark in Canada yet. The database is updated weekly on Thursdays and there is some lag time between filing and publication on the database.
