Spec Miatas are pretty slow. I have raced hem. Fun and competitive class. My yardstick is Barber which is a very technical track with shorter straights.

Anywho, lets look at spec Miata times at Streets of Willow where the RCF posted a decent time.

124.12 is optimal for spec Miata.
RC F did a 124.05.

That said, I think I could do very close times in both cars on tight, short straight courses. 99.95 % on here, however, would be quicker in the RC F because the RC F has nannie control whereas spec Miata will bite you if you screw up.

Put the RCF on Putnam, Daytona, Fontana, Gateway, VIR, Mid Ohio, RA or . . . and it should do pretty well because of straight line speed and power.

Oh, I just had to correct your last sentence for you: "....because an RC F could feasibLY post better times?"

You're welcome.
Outmatched by what? Again, please tell us about your track experience and how much seat time you have in the RC F and and the M4. Otherwise, you are just an internet couch racer being negative.

Totally cool to not like a car, but to be so negative and make such broad statements without any driver skill is just couch racer trolling.

Facts is, I can have fun in just about any car on a race track. I have taken students around LS in the Skippy magic bus dang near lifting wheels showing them lines. Those little Formula Dodge we used to instruct in at Skippy were slow as heck, but still fun. Bring some experience to the table if you are going to be all negative.

Agreed.

Haha this is the reason why I don't get into most debates/discussions on the forums. People that lack the experience, mainly on the track, always seem to have the most to say. It's comical.

FR500GT, you Can't say that cause he said he competed through Redline in a 2015 STi Launch Edition!

Me and the STi doing a dance at Chuckwalla, WSIR (Big track), and SoW.

If you got any on track advice for the RC-F let me know! I've changed out the standard oil for a little thicker viscosity to reduce oil shearing. (It's gonna be a hot one during the 4th) Also swapping brake fluid to a Stoptech 660 for a little better pedal feel. I've ran SS before on my C6Z06 so I'm fairly informed on tire temps for it. Camber and toe will be stock unless I find someone within the next week. Speaking of which, is the camber and toe fairly adjustable on this car?

Awesome pictures. Thanks for sharing.

I wish I did for the RC F, but I don't. I have felt the car's understeer playing around on public streets. In fact, I felt it coming home from work today on a long left hand exit ramp type sweeper. The car is very predictable even in expert mode with grannie crap off and even on wet roads.

Dude, I have no idea about suspension adjustments. I would imagine the car is pretty neutral out of the factory which is the only experience I have with the car. Testing tire temps across the tire should be very revealing.

The RC F is very docile and easy to control. Nothing happens too quickly in it. It actually should be pretty fun to drive due to its characteristics. It ain't GT3 RS or Ferrari Challenge (which I drive now), but its is very smooth and predictable for a street car. Have fun!

I don't have a bruised ego, hence I have no need to prove myself to some joker on the internet. If you don't believe me fine, I could care less. The bottom line is the RCF is an excellent GT car, but a horrible track car. The numbers speak for themselves.

What track numbers.? Did you completely space out the above that show RC F ahead of most popular sports cars? Did you see that it did better than Z06s,,Caymans, 911 S, M3s and etc.

Lol, you still won't answer questions about your track experience. I have to say, there are very few people in the US whose opinion I value on the performance of cars and none of them would be negative like you.

You're using one track time to buttress your whole argument? Are you for real? The collective numbers on the RCF speak volumes about it. Perfect GT car this side of a 911? You bet. Best track competitor in its class? Not at all. Now I'm willing to bet that you're such a little diva that you won't be able to help but talk about your inconsequential track experience yet again.

This guy seems really mad, maybe mental problems. Why post about a car you don't have to tell everyone how bad it is? Strange, Wonder if he goes to eat just to tell the chef the food sucks without ever eating it as well but read a bad review on Yelp.

I'm trying to get out of my RCF TVD Liquid Platinum/Red leather lease. My work decides to tell me that they need me to relocate to NYC in September. If anyone is interested PM me.
