The 991 GT3 is a beast. I only used the turbos and the RCF as daily drivers. The M4 may edge out the RCF on paper, but I think the RCF is better looking. The BMW body style needs some refreshing in my opinion. This is all so very subjective. Nice to have good options.

Understatement of the year haha!

I can't wait to get my hands on one of these! Realistically, I'll probably move into a GTR next and then after that hopefully a GT3 to double duty track and weekends.

Yep, I have the 996 and 997 GT3 in both street and cup car versions and a 997 GT3 RS. I drove a friends 991 GT3 and was like HOLY COW. Amazing turn in, balance and throttle response. I can hardly imagine what the 991 GT3 RS will be like. Porsche is nailing it with the 991s!

That's quite an impressive collection, you sir have good taste! Any pics? It's too bad you're all the way out in Nashville, around here these cars are everywhere, especially all of our Targa Trophy events.

I am waiting on the new NSX, one of my friends just got a Lamborghini Huracan, nice car so far but I still have my fingers crossed on this NSX if that does not work out I like the GT3 or the Lambo, this new one is MUCH better then the old ones I have been in.

Lol, pretty much one or two gts at a time. No collection. Ragged one out and moved on to next. Should have been have had or had, not havr . . . Typing on iPhone. Yep. Got some pictures and some in car videos. Also, spent many years driving TRG cup cars.

RE: west coast, I taught at Skippy at LS off and on for many years and raced both open and closed in west coast for many years. I grew up there and still spend a large amount if my time and have office there.

I am also salivating over Huracan. Wifey still has her Gallardo spyder I posted a pic of a while back, but that car is more a fashion statement than anything else. The new 991 GT3 RS is about as good as it gets under $ 400k. Another car worth a look is the 997 GT2 RS.

Yep. The purple car. I agree with him on pdk v manual. Hopefully, 991.2 GT3s will have option. Pdk is dang good though.

It seems the ISF dropped into the $45k-$50k range in the first 20k miles.

I'll be shopping for an RCF around that time as well.

I am sure you can get a nice used RC 350 with that many miles for that price, Not sure of a car that's going to drop 20k in 20k miles.

Haha you can get a used RC350 with 1,500 miles TODAY for less than $45k. Heck, you can get a 2014 IS350 with 10k miles for less than $35k. Given the atrocious reviews of the RC350, I'd say it'll hit sub $35k even faster than the IS350.

Give it a year or two and they'll be in the 45-50k range.

Example: 2013 Lexus ISF, 16k miles offered at $49k.

Example: RCF less than 3k miles offered at $65k.

Just picked up a used one yesterday. 1700 miles, Prem Package, Nav w/o Levinson, Leather, 19" 10 Spoke wheels, Lo Jack and a few other little things for 66k.

Best deal I could find in San Diego.

Congrats. Enjoy the car. A similar car sold for $ 68k with the exact same mileage in Nashville in just a couple of days. Some live on the net, some live in reality and driving the cars they enjoy. Good deal, great car.

I think the RC-F is in the wrong class. For one thing, 4,000 lbs is unacceptable in a sports car. However, if you look at the RC-F not as a sports car but as a grand tourer it makes 100% sense. I think that's the problem with how this car is being reviewed. Its being compared to cars where it will definitively lose b/c its not built to be what they are.
