Just washed the wheels. I'm in for the Carbotech 1521s ASAP. If there's not going to be a group buy any time soon, I'll go to Mike Jr. directly.

I heard Carbon Ceramic brake is literally dust free and wonder if CCM is available for RC F as an option like M4.

Why do people buy performance cars with performance brakes and complain about the side-effects? This is the equivalent of buying a race car and complaining that the ride is too harsh and that it's too noisy.

Just wanted to bump this thread with the link to the group buy before it gets buried in the vendor classifieds section. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/clu...group-buy.html

CCM brakes are not dust free but most CCM pads focused on street use are very, very low dusting. There are no aftermarket CCM options for the RC-F but if one becomes available you could expect the cost to be in the $10-15K range. I know many people dislike the dust that many performance oriented pads produce but very few will spend that kind of money to reduce the dust levels when there are low dust pads available for iron rotors that can get reasonably close for only a couple hundred dollars.

I am not sure about the others, but I bought my car mainly for the looks. I won't be tracking it or drag racing from light to light. Low dust and noise levels along with reasonable braking action is where it's at for me.

The hand polished wheels mask the brake dust very nicely

Just placed my order for the Carbotech, I could have prob dealt with the dusting although excessive, but squealing at low speeds constantly, there's just no way~ it's more embarrassing then anything to me.

Excited to get these pads and put them on!
