Default RC F Lease Terms Opinions

Hey guys and gals,

I am going to be picking up my RC F by the end of the month and wanted to run by some terms that were offered to me by the dealership. I have already leased my wife's IS 350 AWD F Sport from this dealership and so I believe they are taking care of me. Fingers crossed......

2015 RC F
Ultra White
Circuit Red

Premium Package
Navigation (non-Mark Levinson)
Moonroof
19" 20 spoke wheels
Pre-Collision system with radar
All weather package
Leather trim

Total MSRP (incl. delivery) $73,925.00

Dealer has agreed to discount $1000, additional $1500 for charge of upgraded wheel package, and car includes cost of freight from Nebraska to Virginia.

Leasing terms (rolling approx $5k in negative into this new lease from a trade):
3 year ($0 down)
Residual: 59% 12k miles per year ($1359/month)
Residual: 57% 15k miles per year ($1396/month)
Money Factor: .00265

4 year ($0 down)
Residual: 50% 12k miles per year ($1209/month)
Residual: 48% 15k miles per year ($1236/month)
Money Factor: .00265

I would care to know what the braintrust's thoughts are here in the forum....

Thanks in advance!!!

I don't understand the cost of freight from Neb. to Vir. are you buying it from a dealer out there?
Otherwise the prices are somewhat inline for the information you gave us. I guess if you are Ok renting a car for around 50K for three years go for it. Im a little surprised the 4 year leases are cheaper usually they are more costly than 3 year ones. The MF is high but I think that's what dealers are getting for car in hot demand.

Thanks for your thoughts.

I'm ok renting a car for 50k since my company pays for the price of my car note as long as it is a Lexus. I wouldn't be in the market for a car with a poor money factor and residual otherwise.

The freight from Nebraska is negotiable. I am leasing the vehicle from a dealer, but dealers are extremely reluctant to give up their inventory of RC F's.

My company gave me the same deal except it had to be a Saturn car The residual and MF is probably in line with what the RCF's are bringing anyway. The car is new and in demand so not many breaks available leasing so far. Good luck with the car

Thanks!

Very grateful for my company taking care of the car note, for sure!

I'll share pics as soon as I take delivery before the end of the month.

Got offer same exact car color combo minus the 20 spoke wheels, standard 5 spoke, 48 months $820, $1,000 down. Or 27 months $1268 $1000 down. 12k miles a year. Best 48 month quote I have received. Thoughts?

If you've got the same deal as OP where the company is paying the note, then by all means... Otherwise, doesn't sound like there is much difference on what is being offered between dealerships so up to you personally to decide on whether spending that sum of money to rent a car is a deal or not.

sfreedom97 - your company wouldn't happen to be involved in importing and exporting, would it?

Does your state Tax on the full anount of the sale price or inly on the amount you finance? So what is the actual sale price after the discount of the vehicle? Do you pay tax upfont or it rolled into your paymnet?

Since you trading the vehicle you may be getting a tax break. You need to find out if your state allows tax break on the trade in. If so, what how much was the trade valued at and how much are you getting?

All these questions are a must know if you dont want to pay more than you should

You said they give you $1000 discount, but charge u an additional $1500 so sale price is $74,425 ??? Also if you have to pay an additional first payment which they normally ask for, you will have 35/m and the paymets will go down about $30

Virginia does not offer tax break for trade in, i need to recalculate. So the numbers above are correct, apperantly calculator does not use tax break

Default Update

Hey guys,

So I've decided to not trade my vehicle to take delivery of my RC F. After the new numbers have been calculated, the dealer has come up with:

Total sticker MSRP $73,925
(Less $1,500 - free upgraded wheels)
Lease
48 months
12k miles
$0 down
$1099/month

15k miles
$0 down
$1126/month

36 months
12k miles
$0 down
$1208/month

15k miles
$0 down
$1244/month

I would greatly appreciate a PM from anyone who may have a better deal on paper as my vehicle should be arriving this week or next.

Thanks so much in advance!
