Oddly enough it's the front that is the biggest issue for rubbing. Even though it has wider front fenders, the way the fender liner is setup, it really doesn't equal wider room for tires (when lowered) ... some creative trimming (front and rear) is required.
Thanks for the write up. I'm doing a similar set up, but with a little more aggressive offset for the front (with a 9") and rear (11"). Could you please a little more specific in regards to the "trimming" areas? Did the rears require rolling? Pics of the areas you trimmed would be great, if you have the time. Thanks.

No rolling necessary in the rears. I'll try to take some pics soon of the areas i trimmed. I'll have it on the lift soon for something I'm sure.

Looks really nice. I'd love to see one of these with some nice lippage in the rear though.

I think if you ran smaller tires in the front you would be ok.....looks good tho one of the best so far. I guess the suspension setup is the same as the IS.....

Not sure why would I run smaller tires up front?

Also, suspension is not 100% identical, meaning I don't think you could use IS350 lowering springs and I know first hand the GS springs that the RC350 guys use do not work (in the front anyway) .... This has to do with the spring perch on the front strut. However, in the instance of coil overs, they do fit meaning they bolt up properly and since the BC racing are full adjustable for height and dampening, they can be dialed in to work on the RC-F no problem.

RetroGame, I "think" he meant running a 255 up front. It's only .02% difference in diameter, but I think it's about .5"-1" narrower. A 265 is ~ 1.5% larger. Sorry, I geek out on the small stuff

got it - thank you. Actually we did have a 255 up front at first during test install but gave the tire too much of a stretched look.

Very nice indeed, the rcf looks like it needs 22 to fill the wheel holes without lowering....

This car just made me wet myself. That is the sickest car I have seen yet on this site. NICE JOB.

I wonder if you could use 2-3mm less offset in the front to eliminate the rubbing withnthose 265s. I wouldn't want to change them either, the sidewall looks perfect, less would not look near as nice.

or I wonder if lifting the coilovers a smidge would help?

Thanks Bro - appreciated it! ... I've already addressed the rubbing but yes, a couple mm up on the coils might have addressed some as well.

Would you happen to know the spring rates you are using? So typically someone could just get the 14' Coilovers and custom spring rates to accommodate the added weight of the RCF compared to the IS350 I would be concerned with not having a camber plate for the fronts, and I wonder what camber arms would fit for our rears?
