Default Software Glitches

I have been regularly experiencing the same software glitches with the RC F.

While driving, the infotainment/NAV screen locks up and renders all associated buttons and track pad functionality useless and locked.

The only way to fix it is to pullover and shut the car off and restart.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Take it in and have them run a diagnostic and search for error codes.

When you start your car don't select any option on the infotainment system (don't touch the touch pad). Let the warning message disappear on its own. I had the same issue on my GS. I guess Lexus still didn't fix the issue.

I would suggest making a video of this error occuring, so that way you can show your service advisor and tech that will eventually look at the car. It will possibly aid them, and at least they will believe you and document the error occuring in case it can't be replicated when you have it dropped off.

You can hold the power / volume button down for a few seconds to reboot the nav in the intrim - no need to stop over

This would suck for a new car. Take it to dealer and have them fix it.

Sucks on any car. All Lexus have the bug if you happen to do the wrong things in the right order. My '06 IS has it as well. If you happen to touch the screen at the exact time you put ir in Reverse. The screen and surrounding buttons become disabled until you shutdown.

Feel for you, hope you get it worked out.

A nice car should have zero problems

Im hating the fact that so much tech is entering the automobiles. The car mechanically could be bullet proof, but the infotainment touch screen could be filled with bugs. Ive had lots of issues with my isf touch screen. What software are these car dealers using....android.

Any car pumped up with tech will reveal a glitch. Reset, rock, and roll.
