When I saw it (and the RC F in the foreground) I thought they were going to have something to say against the new car. There aren't even any Lexus/Toyota products on the list, but it seemed very intentional to me that they showed Lexus' new flagship with the headline for new cars to avoid.
Am I being paranoid, or is this just another part of the concerted media effort to discredit this car before it even hits the lot?
Ha, I just finished reading that article and noticed the same thing. In my opinion, no. It's just a pretty picture for the article. Also the RC-F is blocked out from the title.

Saw this and was annoyed too. Wouldn't say it's Lexus bashing, but if you're writing an article, any article, your headline image should at least be relevant to the content.
