Default new orange color

seeing as every picture seems different
can someone who has actually seen the color in person describe it
is it dodge orange
home depot bucket orange
safety cone orange
or pinky orange salmon color
or any other object you can relate it to

also is infrared a raspberry red rather than bright red like Porsche guards red

thanks

As good as it gets for real life photos in the SUN

Molten Pearl will have a dynamic visual change as lighting around it changes...
(same for Infrared)

Some of us, like me, went ahead and ordered the car by sitting down with the sales manager and deciphering the package and option codes.

We all need to remember that the Monticello cars are prototypes and still in need of work before production begins.

As such, I would not expect to see a configuration site until October. One of the threads has the options and pricing.

If you are serious about the new beast, I highly recommend this article

One word. Plastidip.

Why? Because the soft paint they use these days needs all the help it can get.

Wow, the metallic flakes and pearl effects are ridiculous. What a gorgeous color. Better clear bra that thing though! hehe

I'll take a pic of mine (when it comes in) next to a scoop of orange sherbet ice cream. So far that's the closest comparison I can think of.

Maybe people should put a color chart card next to the cars that are photographed
so one could compare the exposure and color saturation to known values.

Its very much a Home Depot Bucket orange. There's a plastic quality to it from far away. But up close you see the depth in the paint. Its definitely a polarizing color and isn't as dark as the F type orange, which IMHO is a perfect shade for orange paint.

I'm not sure if this picture helps define the color but it is a pretty sharp picture.
