The RC-F will have the clear advantage on any course with lots of tight curves. I picked up my carbon TVD today, and I have NEVER driven anything that corners like this car-- amazing. The M4 will have the advantage on the straights.

And this baseless statement is backed up by exactly what facts??? Review above just included some tight corners and the clear advantage went to the M.

Or are you saying that you are a better driver than the reviewer above and would have been able to trim 5+ seconds off his lap time to make the outcome different? Clearly that was a TVD equipped RCF.

Please post links showing EXACTLY how much quicker the TVD makes the RCF over a non-equipped version. No more personal opinions, no more hyperbole, no more bait to entice trolls to join and comment, just LINKS.

I have to say I agree with ISF001 on that statement based on the one (to my knowledge) published recorded track performance by Motortrend.
If you look at the top speed and acceleration - the M4 is clear winner. However, the RCF consistently shows higher lowest speeds during turns.

the lower speed sections of the track the RCF is able to keep up turns 3 through 11. The open area of the track, 11 to 3 the M4 obviously is faster. The Head 2 Head test is the one where there is the most data to analyze and is the most scientific so far. Funny how the heavier car has more speed in the low speed sections.

The TVD feels planted--not heavy. There's plenty of HP to thrust the car with 389 pounds-feet torque available at 4,800 rpm. The car likes to run, and the pedal response is immediate and powerful.

This VIDEO explains operation of the TVD:

Maybe the tires are different. Speed in a corner is just a square root function of the corner radius and track/tire friction. Then there is TVD. Then there is tire temp vs time as well as how the driver hit his marks. Would be nice to have Motec waveforms to look at to see lateral Gs, steering angle, corner radius, speed, etc.
