I feel this video provides prospective buyers with an explanation of what Yaguchi-San wanted to create as the unique RCF.

The review is interesting. I follow this chap--no matter what appears on the scene, he favors the Germans and --uh UK--cars. With that said, he had quite a smile on his face.

"Its too heavy" "Brakes are bad" "Doesnt have much feel" yet the car turns on a dime, stopped from triple digit speeds all day, let the rear loose on command etc. Betcha the track tests paint a different picture when they get their hands on a production car.

The IS-F was heavy, and it was compromised by using an existing platform not known for being svelte. The RCF has no excuse for all the weight. I have no doubt the M4 will crush it at the Lightning Lap (if there is one this year).
oh man, i hope they run one of the newer is-f's ('13 or '14) at VIR, when/if they run the rc-f. i am curious if the 13's+ are faster than the 2011 they tested round the track and how it will compare to the rc-f of course.

"Incredibly rigid"..."amazing brakes"... And a reliable source.

Looking forward seeing the opinion from someone at Motorweek.

Crush it... Well, that's just an impossibility.

It is the world's fast Lexus production car...reality my friends. It's one h_ll of an engine, and we may be hard pressed to find one of this calibre in the entire class.

A rumor regarding a 4-door RC-F. Basically, the same car except with 4 doors.

I think Autotcar gave a fair review in their video test which was good news, car and advice also gave pretty good review. yes the weight is only an issue on the track but everything else is just fine.

The beauty of this breakthrough car lies in the remarkable engine, the g-force artificial intelligence that preselects gear entering and exiting the corners, and the torque vectoring rear that bites to the outside thanks to the the electric motors on each side of the differential that enable the clutch, planetary gears, half shaft and the wheel.

He shut everything off and did not give the RCF a test based on its new technology. That track ride was a joke--a bloody travesty.

I am waiting for the valid tests with Motor Trend and Road and Track.

I have a feeling RC F is a very very solid car, not like the German rivals. That is something that is very important to me, about any product. I prefer a maybe slightly slower car, that will drive in three years just as it did the first day, than have something like a German car that feels like it will fall apart after one year. German cars are like Apple under Tim Cook, overrated.
