Default 2nd thoughts.........New RCF or like new 650I?

I was set on getting a new RCF when they come out but the only thing that bothered me was the quality of the interior (minus the seats). I ran across a like new BMW 650I locally at a great price, dont have to deal with losing all the money on depreciation after 1st year (was $100K now $69K with 7K miles). I know this is a lexus forum but should I go with the more sleek and luxurious BMW or more radical Lexus?

If it's an M6 then maybe. It will def be a ton faster than RC-F but if it is a regular 6 series then hell no

RCF isnt going to lose 30% in the first year with how rare its going to be. Whoever bought that car originally got creamed on the trade in.

how about a TON slower...4.5 0-60 and 154 top end.

The ISF is faster--4.2 and 170, and the RCF will beat the 4.2 time.

Come on...

If you want the bimmer, just go buy it, but the rcF will eat it on the streets and on the track.

BTW: the M6 2015 is running a 4.1 0-60 and is purported to be a pig on the track--it's an executive super sedan built to run from light to light.

You are comparing an F athlete to a weight lifter... You need more than grunt to be a super coupe. BMW is dying a slow death, IMO.

If you just wanna cruise, I say get the 650i m sport. It's a nice looking car. Not gonna handle as well as the RCF and definitely not faster. Probably would impress more chicks with the bimmer.

well, if that is the mission, I believe the RCF will be the stronger magnet.

Sorry, but the 650i is in a different league than the RC-F. The RC-F competes with the M4. They are "boy racer" cars, and the 650 is all grown up and luxurious. So, it really comes down to what you want.

I would do a check on the 650i (accident report, etc.). If it is clean I'd go with that. Beautiful car!

To all u experts on ur 0-60 times, I was saying if he is looking at a 6 series Bimmer then he should only consider the M6 and 2014 M6 has a 0-60 of 3.6 seconds which will be a "ton" faster than the RC-F. If u guys think the RC-F will beat 3.6 seconds to 60 then u all need ur heads examined. I never said the 650i would be a ton faster than RC-F, read my statement before making a dumb *** response.

this.

design alone i think its one of the best looking cars on the road. and in the entire BMW line, I think the 6 series Grand Coupe takes the cake for aesthetics, imo

2nd this statement again. Different league altogether. Comments about things you will either never or raely use (0-60 times and top speed) as first reactions to the question are .

Decide what league you want to be in per the above, then get that car.

One would think. But no, not true.
Inexcusable. So disappointing.
