The radical coupe is unusual, limited and unique, high performance and not a cheap ride-- the definition of an exotic.

You need to log a few hours in an "F" to understand and truly appreciate the machine and what Lexus is doing. It puts the M to shame-- been there and done that.

Of course, the Lexus RC F owes much of its agility to specially developed tire packages.

Lexus RC F has three 19-inch wheel choices, all made from forged aluminum for optimum rigidity and minimum weight.

The RC F uses a staggered wheel and tire setup, with 255/35R19 front and 275/35R19 rear tires.

A flat tire repair kit in place of a spare tire saves vehicle weight.

The standard wheel is a split five-spoke design. The optional wheel is a split ten-spoke design, each spoke with a machine finish. Another optional wheel is a hand polished 20-spoke, with two layers of 10 spokes. The inner layer is indexed 30 degrees ahead of the outer layer. As one more example of the high level of craftsmanship in each F model, this 20-spoke wheel is hand-finished by craftsmen.

Nobody has mentioned this, but IMO, the top option wheels (HAND-POLISHED 19-IN SPLIT-20-SPOKE FORGED ALLOY WHEELS) are asymmetric, much like the '08 ISF wheels were. With the ISF, Lexus made the wheels corner specific (4 unique wheels per car). They have not done this with the RCF split 20 spoke wheels. So the wheels look different on one side of the car (trailing black spoke) than on the other side (leading black spoke). Anyone agree with me on this?

Yes Lou I agree..

I mentioned this almost two years ago when they Launched the car..

Base Wheel & Option 2 wheel are Symmetrical

The option 3 wheel needed to be designed as L & R, but of course they cutback and didn't..

Actually the Global Debut Press RC F was the only car to show the Option 3 - Split 20 Spokes in L & R aesthetically pleasing configuration..

When the car went on sale, they only went with 2 part numbers for front & rear..

But yet they offered a total of 3 wheel designs, totalling 6 different part numbers.
And more in other regions, where the wheels come in solid finishes.

These is where accounting & engineers never talk to each other.

A year later the GS F launches with one wheel design (2 part numbers in the USA)

Hi, I am looking at my wheel options was wondering if these offsets will fit a 16 GS-F, especially to clear the brake calipers. I figure the calipers on the RC-F and GS-F are similar.

Fronts: 20x9 +38
Rears: 20x10.5 +45

Thanks in advance.

I am running the following with RR Racings - Penske Coilovers - with vehicle lowered about 1 1/4"

Front – Rays Gram Lights 57 Extreme Model WGJ443E9 19 X 9.5 +43 offset with Michelin PSS 265/35ZR19
Rear - Rays Gram Lights 57 Extreme Model WGJ635E9 19 X 10.5 +35 offset with Michelin PSS 285/35ZR19

Offset on rear maybe a problem

Its really not the offset that determines the caliper clearance but the lower the offset, the better. Some high offset wheels can clear the RC F BBK , depending on the wheel/spoke design. Hope that helps and PM me or call if you have any other questions
