These cars are not going to be the easiest and fastest to acquire. You can certainly spec a car, but get in line and be ready for a considerable wait time.

I am trying to get one by the fall. If I am lucky enough to secure a carbon that has been pre-built for shipment to the US, I am not going to worry about the wheels.

They will they be here that soon? Did the dealer take a down payment yet?

Never noticed the back bumper flares out so much, not a good look. It's like looking at Kim Kardashian's thighs from the back.

I'll take the bubble butt over those awful looking vents on the RC 350. Unfortunately, I'm not in the market for the F, so the vents need to grow on me. But, I agree with others that the wheels on the F are awful, the 19s on the RC 350 (non-F sport) are ideal. It seems like Lexus didn't quite get the little details perfect.

That is the highlight of the design. The crazy wide stance from the back gives this car the muscular "all-business" look. Classic sports car proportions. On the road, from the back people would be drooling at how muscular it looks from the back.

My only issue is with the nose hump. It looks out of place and disproportionate like a swollen nose. However, I understand the V8 is so big in size that they needed to do that. Much rather have an N/A high-revving V8 than a twin turbo 6 cylinder.

Agreed. Those vents look terrible.

That's likely for pedestrian impact safety. Regulations require 0.8" space between top of engine and hood.

A few more pics from today with stuff mostly set up already for tomorrow's public day. Contribution from an SC430 owner who still loves his bubble butted SC with its curvy rounded hood.

It is kind of odd that they ended up with the beluga whale hood on a car designed from the ground up with a big V8 in mind. I get why the IS-F had it, since the IS wasn't originally designed with the idea of having a V8 shoe-horned in.

As for the wheels, it needs some nice 5-spokes.
