2015 Lexus RC / RC F Pre-Order Guide

Lexus Test Driver
I sat inside the GTR last night and it was surprising how bad the interior is. Lots of cheap hard plastic everywhere and the design looks terribly dated. Certainly not an interior for a $100k+ car.

so the white looking seats in previous pictures isnt really white, its a gray leather. Assumed it was white because the ISF had white. If I was getting one it would be Exceed Blue / Rioja Red. Although the silver looks great in this picture, the blue is its signature color

Finally we get Atomic Silver in the F Sport. Also, 4 wheels steering? Is that just the DRS in the GS F Sport?
That with either Clove or Rioja Red interior may get me to make the leap.

I pre-ordered the Exceed Blue Metallic Carbon Model. Estimated price: around $80K.
The Performance model should baseline at around $70K, but without the TVD.
GTR is not for me--just too many problems. I considered BMW-been there and won't go there again--just too many problems. I am not a Porsche guy.
To each his own...i will anxiously await the late year delivery.

no official RCF pricing announced yet and still dont know how BMW will nickel and dime you on an M4, which you can always count on for a german car. When a 335 speced out to my F Sport costs 56k, a 64k M4 is going to be stripped down

Even if the pricing is not yet final, I just cannot fathom why BMW can make CF standard in M4 and Lexus has to make us pay more, theoretically.
But I am leaning towards a 2012 0r 2013 GTR. I am willing to spend more on this car because of the obvious performance advantages and it is in a totally different league.

I said few months ago that carbon will probably be packaged with something that's imperative for performance in order to move the package and here we are.
Did anyone notice lack of premium LED lights on RC350 or I misread it? Lemme check on that ..

I have priced out my M4 using the price guide sent to me by a BMW sales agent. What you have to understand is that base M4 would have the CF hood, roof , Navigation as standard equipment. . With all the options that I want, my total would be 75K and I would assume that that would be comparable to the Carbon variant of the RC-F except for the TVD.
