When is Lexus going to wake up?

WE NEED TO DEMAND A LA CARTE OPTIONS, like Porsche (and other German OEMs).
If I want vinyl seats and the TVD in the RC F, I should be able to get that.
I definitely don't want a la carte options (re pricing) like Porsche. That's way overkill. I don't need nor want 10 gear shift **** covers to choose from. Just give me logical options. Lexus does not like (nor is set up) to handle orders.

Actually Lexus is the most setup of any carmaker to handle a la carte orders.
Toyota's production system is the most flexible and efficient in the world. Each car can be completely different coming down the line, it won't matter.

Why take the options that the Corporation feeds you?
Don't you trust yourself enough to choose from a menu of options?

I for one want the RC F with the TVD and with a moonroof. Not a crazy request.
But Lexus is telling me I cannot have that combination - the TVD comes with the carbon roof, so no moonroof.
That is likely going to be a deal-breaker.
I must have a moonroof, and the TVD is another must-have option (for the track and even for driving in bad weather).

Here is the twist though, he said they are only getting 6 RC-F carbon from Oct to the end of 2014 and they are all reserved, mine is more likely to be an early 2015 build....
I think pricing for the Performance will be under $70K…you can get a nicely equipped M4 for $70K...

I think you are right...give it a couple of years. Perhaps, by 2017, a few of the horses will be out of the stable looking for new owners to ride them.

Default Love the GTR

I do agree that the 2 cars are not comparable, but you've obviously never driven a GTR. The GTR pretty much drives itself and therefore, doesn't take much effort, BUT still a fun car to drive and not many cars on the road in that price range that will beat it. Great handling on the Dragon last year and Devil's Triangle. Oh yeah...and guess what won the One Lap of America again this year...GTR! Now that I'm finished defending the GTR, I can't wait for the RC F...

Meh, I prefer my McLaren over the GT-R. But with that said, I too am looking forward to the RF-C (or NSX or Huracan), whichever I can get my hands in first.

Hahaha very true!

Will one be able to lease an RC F?

I'm not familiar with leasing and I don't recall ever seeing leases on IS F?

Yes. IS-F lease was available since the beginning (and still is).

Yea im done with buying brand new. Ill always go used and let the first person take that hit. I usually buy from dealerships that sell around cars to rich people. lol. They always switch up cars after barely driving them. But if I have to get a new one, I do a lease to own
