I was at the Lexus dealer recently and they told me the RC is replacing the SC model which was around 80k. The guy at the dealer told me to expect the RC-F to be around 100k. You guys saying this car is going to be in the 60k range are out of your mind lol Realistically....80-100k for the RC-F.

There is no way it will be $100K. If it had a lot of expensive exotic materials like carbon fiber, I would have bought that, but no way it will cost over $80K fully loaded with all options. Base price will be $67k - $69K.

RC-F sales competing against:

Vette
BMW
Audi

All of which are in the 50-75K range.

Spoken like a true salesman. That guy at the dealer is buttering everyone up for the first guy to walk in the door that's interested in the RC-F and hit em with a nice fat dealer mark up. I can just hear the BS spewing out of this guys mouth now.

I never said I thought the car would be 100k I said thats what the dealer told me. I said you are crazy if you think you are getting this car for 60k. And 50?? Come on lets not be stupid. People who want to say "base" at 67-69k.....ya add tax onto that and youre looking at 75....add features and packages and you are looking at 80-90k

No one said the RC-F will be 60k.

I dont see the RCF being below 60k by a long shot, but 80k-100k, hell no... because at that point im sure anyone with logic will say "if im spending that much, why would i buy a lexus? im going exotic or german at that range"

no one here was expecting it to be 60k. Fully loaded IS-F was $67k or so, so its going to be more than that

$75 for the first release would be quite reasonable and I expect this would increase year after year.

Im sorry but looking back I think the guy at the Lexus dealer must have been referring to the new LF-LC because like I said....he mentioned it would be replacing the SC model. My mistake. Also, I wasn't talking to a sales person at the dealer I was talking to a guy who works in the parts department.
