Just saw a European magazine test of the BMW M4 and like I had been stating all along (knowing how off the weight of the 1M was), the weight reduction was a complete farce.
The F30 M4 weighed the exact same as the previously tested E92 M3. It was well over 3600 lbs (1630 KG). 0 - 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds.
So much for the laughable "M4 is going to be lighter than an E46 M3" rhetoric.

Definitely has the M4 beat in terms of sound. I remember the first time I heard the M4 exhaust clip opened on another window while I was browsing the forums...all I heard was a civic with an exhaust, came back to the exhaust clip to see it was a M4 revving....I literally fell off my chair
