Umm I don't get it - yes but WITHOUT the CCB Brakes both the M3 and M4 are nowhere close to 90k!!! That was my point.
- That one option is over 8k.
- RCF has no such option even available.
- Lets compare Apples to Apples.

I like both as well but prefer the RCF but your comment of 90k price was misconstrued by the CCB cost.

Man, all of you boys need to just play nice!
He already said he likes both cars - any Lexus owner can't deny the M3's an amazing machine too. Just because you may/may not own one is besides the point.
I loved my IS-F, M3, but at the same time respect the Audi. Life is great when you can afford to have these choices.
Just because I am an Audi owner, does not make me look down on Ferrari or Lambo. All are equal cars which each have it's own merits.
I still think Lexus needs a 4-door sedan since the RC-F is a "glass half empty" issue for me.

funny how in order to get backup camera and keyless access for the M they lumped those into a $4000 package, dual clutch $2900, LED headlights $1900, Extended Leather interior $3500, 19" wheels $1200. Most of those are standard on the RC (8spd is just as fast as the DCT). Typical german car nickel and diming.

Shifts in 0.1 Second and Downshift Throttle Blipping
New hydraulic-control technology allows the IS F 8-Speed Sport Direct Shift transmission to perform on par with manual transmissions without sacrificing the smoothness of a torque-converter automatic. In M mode, upshifts are executed in just one-tenth of a second, six times faster than manual shifts in the V6-powered IS models.

Also as for the shift speeds vs. DCT, what most forget is that while shifts are indeed fast for the 8 speed sports, it's the down shifts where you see the big difference. I owned one of the first IS-F and I can tell you that there is noticeable lag versus a DCT from the GT-R, which isn't the best of the DCT out there currently.

Lexus and Toyota have weird packaging options (e.g. on a new Prius V, if you want the 7" navigation unit, you have to get radar cruise control and pre Collison) which is to give them more profit. I see nothing wrong with what BMW has done. Most options in the end will net you pennies on the dollar.
