Just curious...has anyone ever convinced Lexus to allow for month to month service on Enform?

Since my RC is in storage from Dec to May, I don't really want to pay $350 a year or whatever it was for only 7 months of use but i do LOVE my enform app

Crazy how expensive this is! Should be free... A tip I found that convinced me not to purchase enform was learning that I could do a remote start from the key fab. If you tap the lock button 3 times and hold it the 3rd time, it will remote start.

The fob range is pitiful. I can't even pop the trunk unless I'm within 15 feet of the car. I think they did it on purpose to help the Enform sales. Because all of my previous cars had a range so far I could walk around a parking lot pressing the fob buttons to find my car. I would likely bump into my car before I found it with this fob... I've tried brand new batteries in both fobs, no difference.

I use Enform every single day to start my car so that it's somewhat warmed up when I get in it after work and I can just hop in it and go. But if I had to use the fob I couldn't do it since my car is nearly a mile from where I work. By the time I walked all the way to my car to start it the point would be moot.

really? i just had a convo with a family member about how far my key fob goes. also i can be inside a brick building and unlock and lock from the fob a good amount away.

Really? Maybe it's just mine then... I also have the leather? fob covers. I wonder if they are interfering with the signal. I don't see how, but I'll have to play with them with the covers off and see. Otherwise, maybe I'll go complain to Lexus and see if they can fix them.

Wait wait is this confirmed? My car is getting xpel'd and coated right now so I can't try, but I wanted the Enform JUST for remote start, I thought this process only worked along with an Enform subscription?

The remote lock button feature doesn't work if Enform is out of service, at least for an is350. Mine was working fine with tapping the lock button 3 times whenever I had Enform but it doesn't work anymore since my 1 year free subscription is out.

its insane this is not included with the car for at least 3 years. Especially on a lease it should defiantly be included with it. I cant believe we have to pay for a subscription if we want to use apps from out phone and the remote start that is already built into the car

Sal11585 is correct and it is easy to do. When configuring a lease just negotiate the Lexus Enform Remote
and the extended maintenance terms that compliment the 3 or 4 years of the lease. Nothing to it.

I called Via SOS button and subcribed to Lexus Enform on a month to month bases. I chose the monthly at $24.99 so as to "try it out" without spending $249 and hate or not use it.
