Default Rattling Issues

Just traded in my GS350F Sport for the RCF and never had any issues with my old car. The RCF rattling is driving me nuts. Wondering if anyone had this problem since I can't find the exact location. It's coming somewhere by the passenger side. Sounds close to the glove box and right side air vent. I pulled the cabin air filter out to see if something was loose, but that didn't work. I only notice it on terrible roads or on the parkway. RCF only has 3,000 miles on it. Any tips would be appreciated.

Just curious, what model year?

I have a '15 and there is definitely a rattle coming from passenger side. Mainly over bumpy roads. I usually drive with music up so not as much an issue for me although I am **** about these things. I figured mine is 1st model year and so shiet that this comes up.

However. I know some folks who say they have no rattles at all. I've Never had a car that was rattle free.

There is that shelf in the glovebox. Did you try removing that driving a bit without it?

The only rattles I have noticed are bass induced rattles and It's usually the battery cover for my garage door opener.

2017 here, had a 2015 for a while. Definite occasional rattle from either the lower steering column cover and/or the steering wheel adjustment switch on both cars...also on another 2015 I've driven. Seems to happen on certain roads, mostly quick repetitive harmonic inducing rough (but small and regular roughness) roads.

I do believe I've had an odd rattle on both from what I think might be inside the glovebox, although haven't been able to pin down exactly where in the cabin it is.... probably same thing you're hearing.

I have a 2015 with only 3,000 miles. I pulled out everything out of the glove box including the owners manual and that plastic tray. If I can't find the annoying rattle, I will rip out the door apart and dash board. At times I could hear it even when the music is loud. I'm about to order an Apexi exhaust, which should help me not focus on the rattle. Hopefully, someone had the same problem and has a solution.

I occasionally get some ratlle noise from the passenger side and it was the seat belt what I did I put one of those belt strap and now there is cushion between the seat and the door pillar hope this helps.....Also my ct was doing the same rattle noise take the passenger belt in buckle it in and see what happens

not one rattle and i stiffened up the ride a little with coilovers. There is some noise in the cowl when I start up from the exhaust, but goes away when the car warms up. The car is a vault

Well, I'm at 31k with no rattles. However, the bulk of my miles have been on relatively smooth roads. If someone drives on really rough roads a lot then I don't think any car will be rattle free forever.

Check the cupholder. If I have a bottle/can/cup in the holder, the spring loaded pins that hold the item, rattle. The moment I remove the item....the rattle noise stops.

Mine had a slight rattle near the steering column which I eventually found out was associated with the turn signal.
