IRWINDALE SPEEDWAY is looking for a few great car clubs...
Any interest for the So Cal group?
IRWINDALE SPEEDWAY
IS LOOKING FOR A FEW GREAT CAR CLUBS ...
The Speedway is looking for sharp car clubs that would like to set up a great special event outing along with a unique opportunity to show their machines to an appreciative throng of NASCAR fans...
Here's the way it works:
The car club (up to 50 cars) contacts us and sets up their own special Saturday night during the 2017 NASCAR season(please see below for available dates).* Irwindale Event Center publicizes the Club's appearance in our pre-race releases.* The Club gets out to Irwindale early (3:30PM) parks as a group and then is escorted to the Fan Concourse display area between the Grandstands and the Pits for their own unique car show.* At about 5:15PM, the Club is escorted onto the NASCAR track's infield to take part in the 5:45PM On-Track Autograph Session.* At the end of the Autograph Session, Club members line up and take two laps of honor around the half-mile NASCAR race track behind the pace car and escorted back to the display area.* After that, the night is for Club members and their guests to enjoy on their own or as a group.The best part is that there's absolutely no charge (driver and one passenger get in free) for any of the above. The Club gets a great outing and a ton of fan recognition and Irwindale gets a great free car show ... A win-win deal all around!OK ... So how does a Car Club apply?Easy ... How about the SoCal group get out there? I'm in for most Saturday nights.
Irwindale also hosts drag racing on Thursday nights for only $20. It's ten bucks just to get in, so who wouldn't want to drive?
only eighth mile so top speeds don't get too high.
I do certainly enjoy that racetrack!
