Default PPE uneven length VERSUS equal length headers

so far, from what I've researched, equal length gives the car a different , quieter sound? But having the same power gains? what are the pros and cons? i see the a lot of people running the equal length headers. does it rev faster up or coming down in neutral?

From what I remember reading one of RR RACING posts, equal headees give the car a more higher pitched sound and unequal give the car a more muscle car sound. Power gains I'm not sure
