Default Would this be covered under warranty?

So I washed the car the other day and I saw this, (wife took pictures for me as she had the phone) I know rock chips happen, but this doesn't look like a rock chip, its like the paint has failed underneath and cracked.

Could you guys advise me if this is covered or not?

Thanks in advance,

Covered or not, this is easy to fix.

Take it to a great shop. They can wet sand it down, dab it with your touch up paint, wet sand again, and wax. You will never know it was there.

I would not repaint the panel.

I have a micro fiber and some rinseless wash solution in the back of the car so bird poop doesn't stay on long enough to do that kind of damage.

I'll take it to a place and have them look at it.
