Went to Japanese Classic Car show @Queen Mary in Long Beach,Ca. today and wasnt digging the LC500 just didnt have that WOW FACTOR to me dont know if its the ugly 21 inch rims or maybe the color of it. Lexus rep said should have a sticker price under $100k and should come out late next year.JMHO.... What do u guys think?

I agree. I was a little intrigued when I first seen it. But I am not at all impressed with what I see in those pics you posted. I prefer my RC F, even if they were the same price.

I saw the LC500 at the Gold Coast Car Show in Glen Cove, NY this past weekend and it's a large car. IMO the RCF's closest competitor is the 6 series not the 4 series, but the LC is more along the lines of a Mercedes S? It surely didn't look like there was any extra space on the interior. And if our 8 speed tranny's arent without flaws how do you think a 10 speed is gonna be? I hate to say it, but its no flagship...just focus on making the RCF even better than it already is!

The RCF and the LC500 appeal to different people. The RCF is more sporty while the LC500 is more luxury; just look at the differences in interiors. Hopefully the LC500 won't be as "disappointing" as the RCF handling and performance-wise in its class. I personally like the styling of the LC500 and meets the requirements to be Lexus' flagship.
RCF definitely doesn't compete with the 6-series...it's in the same class as the M4 and C63 and ATS-V.

are we looking at the same interior? The LC500 red seats make me want to gag, while the rcf seats receive endless compliments. I don't see whats so special with instrument and gauge layout either. Btw the LC uses the same exact engine with a few more ponies and torque that wouldn't make a difference in real life, it's just for Lexus to justify the surge in price.

Its a nice car and will make a great convertible.
After spending much time in the 6 series and having an M4 coupe this week after having an M4 convertible for a week at the beginning of the month, I can definitely see the 6 series comparison. Performance, drive, feel and and size all feel comparable and I could certainly see how those in the 6 marker might consider an RCF and visa versa.
That said, after spending a few days in an 2014 M5 this week . . . that thing sucked for the money. I would take a the plain Jane CLS550 over that any day without even thinking twice about it. The difference between the CLS and the M5 are just night in day in favor of Mercedes. Candidly, I don't see how or why anyone buys Bimmers anymore as the new Mercedes counterparts are just that much better from finish, feel, drive, looks, interior and fun factor. . . . The new C coupe AMG smokes the M4 in my opinion and BMWs just feel cheap anymore when comparing them to Mercedes and Porsche.

Honestly, I don't think that's a legitimate LC500. It's appears to be some body kit on an RC. Even the LC500 logo on the rear isn't on squarely. I suspect this is a fake or joke. Lexus wouldn't parade a vehicle in public like this.
That car looks beat, like it was saved from the wreckers. Not a good color.

Why would they spend that much money faking it and then put the logo on off-center on accident?

As in all new Models of the Lexus Lines....The angular body and sculpted on the sides is neat looking but requires time to sink in if you are not used to it. I think the RCF is a great looking car but the LC500 is unique and diff in it's own design. Thus the sporty RCF to the more elegant classy look of comfort in the LC500. I like them both but obviously will appreciate it more in person. IMHO
BTW:
I have a 997 CS, C6 6 Sp. Corvette, SC430, LS430, 2016 Tundra so as you can see, I like all shapes and sizes....Lol

I saw this car on Sunday at the Moulin car meet in Newport Beach and honestly I was not impressed. Maybe it was the color, maybe it was how tall and bulky it looked next to all of the other cars but it definitely did not look as nice as it looks online
I REALLLLLLY was hoping I would love it in person. Hopefully the F model they release will be nicer?
