Tire questions
1. What kind of mileage did you get from your stock Michelin Pilot Super Sports before replacement?
2. What replacement tire did you use?...and are you happy with the performance?
My tires aren't "shot" yet,but they are showing wear. I don't race or track my car, so when I do replace, I'd like something that I can get more miles out of them. An all-weather tire would be nice too, since I live in the Northeast where we get some snow in the Winter. The Super Sports aren't all that good in rain either. Thanks guys!

I get 13-15 with my heavy foot in city with the PSS
if if you want all seasons with a lot tread, try Michelin A/S 3+. They perform very well in rain, great traction unless you track it, and has 500 tread wear.

Ssmoked, do you always drive in S+ mode? I mix Eco and S+ and barely get 15. Also, I spotted a MP yesterday morning on the 110 Fastrak headed south. Was that you by any chance?

personally I wouldn't put all seasons on the F, but maybe it works for someone that cruises in the city mostly and doesn't utilize all the power redlining on the daily

I think I really depends on the condition of the road and the city. I'm still on my original set of tires. my RCF is at 18k miles now. tire tread still looks quite healthy. I still probably can get another 7-10k out of them.

I always take Fastrak so I rarely deal with traffic. Thanks for the feedback though! I have a lot to learn so I've been pretty gentle with the car, tires included.

15K with a track day and a heavy foot. Mind you, Im lowered a lot ( on penskee coils ) and run about -2.8 of camber. 15K is a decent wear for super sports. I just replaced mine

Eco mode in cruise control at steady 65 mph or below will get you above 31 mpg on the RC-F.
whats Eco mode? I'm in sport+ in less congested and sport in slow traffic for better pickup. Eco mode to me is a waste. Unless you are in cruise control (which shouldn't make a big difference between Eco, normal or sport), a driver probably uses more gas trying to keep up with traffic patterns in Eco mode

Not to derail this thread too much, I'm finding the longer I own it, the more I drive in S+, especially in city. I do use ECO frequently on LA freeways. I've gotten 29.5 round trip from LA to Vegas doing a steady 80 MPH with the AC on (with periodic bursts of 90+ passing speed).
