Default Loud noise at triple digit speeds

As the title reads, I am getting a loud noise when I let off the accelerator well into triple digits. I can't pinpoint the noise because 1) I'm concentrating on not at crashing and 2) it seems like it is coming from everywhere. The noise comes in at around 5.5k-6k in 7th. I was in sport plus and in manual mode. It sounds like transmission whine but it's extremely loud. Engine and transmission continued to work flawlessly throughout the day. Is this a normal sound I should hear?

I wonder how the techs are going to replicate this
I've done triple douche runs a few times in Mexico and never noticed any loud whining noises. I don't think it's normal.

I only started hearing it after hitting 150 and then 155 on 2 separate runs. I hit 145 between those 2 runs and there was no noise. I honestly don't even know how to explain it to the tech.

This.

Is the loud noise coming from the thrill/joy of the driver?

Lol, anyone else hearing strange noises when back off the accelerator at 155 mph?

I have never heard any noise from other cars I've driven at speeds higher than that. Most of those cars had DCT's and more horsepower.

Brother, I am not suggesting the noise is normal or should be there. I just think it is a hilarious question to ask. I try it out on the way home from work and see if I hear anything.

Definitely not normal, I've been up around those speeds many times and never heard any strange noises.

Lol its all good man. I know it's sounds funny to ask but wanted to make absolutely sure before I go to the tech. Hopefully doesn't end up being something serious.

rent a dyno and take a video. Could be gear whine in 7th that only presents itself above 5k rpm. Could be tires too

Sorry, but I can't contain myself LOL

I agree with Deanrcf on the video part though at those speeds I hope the whine can be captured above the wind, tire, and engine noises.

Believe it or not, this is more than likely your windshield seal. There is wind leak that goes through the windshield that results in howling/whistling type noise at highway speeds especially if you go around or over 100 mph. It is fairly common with Toyotas (and possibly some Lexus' too). My Toyota had it brand new while getting close to or over 100 mph when I got it back in 2004 and it took a long time to figure out. Initially, I thought it was the moon roof and Toyota refused to replicate the issue since it was beyond legal speeds. Eventually, I had a windshield crack and had to get the windshield replaced. It never occurred again after that.
