J.D. Power U.S. Vehicle Dependability Charts 2013-2016
Most of us purchased our vehicles because of the reliability, but where does Lexus actually rank? Lexus has led 4 years in a row but their grip seems to be lessening due to technology as is true with overall industry standards.
Here are screenshots of all the major nameplates and their rankings from 2013-2016. Porsche seems to remain near the top with Buick surprisingly in the top 10 every year. The biggest surprise was Ford which is steadily dropping near the bottom. Also included a link from Motley Fool with their 2016 summary: http://www.fool.com/investing/genera...cle-depen.aspx

I wonder what percentage of those negative ratings for Lexus are from things like faulty ventilated seats?
Hopefully that's all it is and not more major problems like powertrain failure.
