275/30/19 on the OEM front rims
Searched the forum - nothing. Anybody running 275/30/19 on the front 9 x 19 OEM wheels? I think this might be pushing it for a 9 inch rim and wonder also about any rubbing issues. On the other hand this would be a good combo with 295/30/19 rear on the 10 x 19 rims because it would just about maintain the rear / front outside diameter ratio.

Yes it will fit, that tire size is designed for 9-10' wheels. You can always check on tirerack.com for reference of what will fit.
I'm also planning on installing 305s on the rear 10' stock wheel. Many 370z (my previous car) are doing that meaty setup with 10' wheel with no problem and great traction, which the current 275s suffer

For my first tire replacement, I definitely plan on going wider. I'm thinking 275 up front and 295 in the rears. I'm on stock rims. Now my question is regarding the aspect ratio. I know our stock tires are:
Front - 255/35 = 178.5 mm = 7.02 inches + 19 inch rims = 26.02 inches wheel diameter.
Rear - 275/35 = 192.5 mm = 7.58 inches + 19 inch rim = 26.58 inch wheel diameter
So If we go with 275 up front and 295 in rears. I assume 295 in rear should be 295/30 rather than 295/35 to keep to as close as stock wheel diameter as possible.
Now with the 275 up front - should we go 275/35 (same as stock rear which is 26.58 inch) or 275/30 which is around 25.49 inches.
Stock Front: 255/35
Stock Rear: 275/35
New Front: 275/30 or 275/35
New rear: 295/30
I know that ISF has 40 Front/35 Rear aspect ratio from factory. Just wondering why Lexus went with 275/35 for stock rears and if I was going to do 275 up fronts - what aspect ratio should I use?
Thanks!

A bit big for the 10' rim or a bit big for the car bc of rubbing? I know for sure it will fit a 10' rim fine and know many Z owners track it at that size with no problem. How much space do you have left between the fender and the tire? Side note: I know for sure so4 305 will fit bc they are actually a bit smaller than other brands in the same size. I had 285/30/20 so4 before and noticed it right away after mounting and thought the tire shop made a mistake.

OEM:
rear 275/35/19 = 26.6 OD
front 255/35/19 = 26.0 OD
Proposed:
rear 295/30/19 = 26.0 OD
front 275/30/19 = 25.6 OD or 265/30/19 = 25.3 OD.
So the front is where I can't decide but am leaning towards the 275/30/19. Overall the car is going to drop about .3 inch though but I think that is negligible.

Yes - for the money I haven't found a better tire. I ran several other performance type tires on my 08 G37 and PSS was definitely the best I found. I think you would have to spend a lot more to get a better performance tire.

For those that are going with Michelin PSS with 275/30-19 Front and 295/30-19 Rear please post some updates with photos when you actually installed them. Looking to replace my tires with wider ones in about 6000 miles.
Thanks

Yeah I'm hoping somebody else jumps first also but I'm planning on going with those sizes probably is a couple months - I think i have 2000 - 3000 mi left on current set. So far I have nearly 23K on these tires which I think is a personal record for Michelin PSS. I ran them on my 08 G37 and never got more than about 18K on a set, not sure why the difference because I drive the car pretty aggressively. I suspect that the G37 suspension is set up with more negative camber angle because they seemed to wear out the inside pretty fast.

^^^^This, i'd like to do the same thing & i doubt i'll ever change out the OEM wheels(i actually like the 10 spoke & they're a lot easier to clean than the other OEM wheels, though that's not an issue anymore since i got the CarboTech pads)
