12.81 with burnout

Doesn't seem like anyone can get under that or anywhere close to what manufacture claims

Here's a 12.58 @ 112.4 mph--it can be done. A little torque braking goes far with the right selections. Has anyone tried using the mode beyond expert?

Lol not easily done...depends on how well the track is prepped, the weather condition, and mainly the altitude. Best I've ran was a 12.5 @113.98 with I/H/E, corrected time of 12.2 for the DA.

I'm surprised the starter let you sit there that long before either throwing you out or telling you to get moving.

Second, torque braking is bad on your converter. You'll be ok to do it sparingly, but keep doing it and sooner or later it will break.

So is flooring and racing the engine on the street. What I mean is modern tranny and engine parts are very robust, especially Japanese made. As long normal maintnance is done, they will easily outlast your itch for the next ride. Most failures or issues arise after the owner decides to "mod" their car with aftermarket parts that doesn't work well with oem parts. After all, I believe the engineers that designed the car knows a bit more than street tuners.
I cant count how many times I went to the drag way and street with my last stock sports car (auto 370z) and did burnout and brake torque before launching, it still shifts and drives like the first day when I sold it for the F. My daily driving habit also consists of redlining and drive the car the way it's built for.

Keep it Rollin' Buddy! Those 12.8's & 12.9's are tooooo close to 13 for me, that was really quick times for street cars back 20 yrs. ago but today i'd feel a lot better if we could get it closer to the LOW 12's or high 11's. I won't ever do any Major mods to mine & ALL i want for Fathers Day is a TUNE I know that won't get the RCF close to 11's but maybe a lil' closer to 12.0's

You realize that run is in Bahrain + the driver is likely a PRO DRAG driver for Ekanoo Racing

Ditto on this...the RC F is built for redlining and raucous driving on the streets and the track.

The RC F is already starting to show its capabilities. The #36 Lexus RC F from GAZOO Racing & TOM’S Racing finished 24th overall and first in the SP-Pro class at the 24 Hours of Nürburgring--impressive performance for any car.

I would say this F car is capable of withstanding a lot of abuse.
