Since you already have the car, I won't beat this to death, but I can tell you if you were willing to fly somewhere, mainly the north east, you would have found TRDs without a problem. I have seen people getting them for under MSRP. Additionally, many guys with TRDs are selling them because the Trail is a better model depending on your use. Heck, I got OTD with my Limited for $45k.
See above on price, but your comment still doesn't make sense. The Lexus version (GX) goes for $65k+ so the fact that the Toyota is 40-45k is quite the steal. Personally, I found the GX to have very little over the Limited 4R. The 4.0 is proven bulletproof, the interior space is incredible, and the on/off road combo capability with the KDSS/XREAS is great. I think you are severely underestimating what you get.
Then again, it simply comes down to....what did you want? The Macan and 4R aren't typically cross shopped. The Macan is your go fast, look sporty, but "please don't go off road" SUV. The 4R is your blends into a crowd, heavy utility, "please take me on a trail and abuse me" SUV.

The Macan does come with crappy all season tires. It actually becomes quiet capable with stickier high performance tires. There should be easy aftermarket ways to get more out of the twin turbo charged motor. Another consideration is market demand and resell.
My wife was never been into Porsches, but she is a believer since getting her Macan. I am a believer in the RC F, but to me the GS F is not even remotely tempting.

Toronto Star actually reviewed the RC as a family friendly sports car and fitted a rear facing child seat:

I went from a 911 Turbo to a C63 Black Series and now RC-F for more room. Once they can all take the school bus, I'm getting back into a 2 seater lol.
