Isn't the MB CLA250 a "WANTABE MB"?

I remember way way back then the MB brand was an indication that "you have made it and arrived". But now these "WANTABE MB" are all over the place. Similarly Porche some years ago with its legendary 911 which was exclusive, then Porche went for the SUV market. Don't get me wrong............I still like MB and Porche.

I'm in the DMV area as well. I have only seen a white RCF, Molten Pearl RCF and one USB one! I have an USB F-sport but yes they are pretty rare around here.

I thought you said the limiter was at 174. I believe it's actually limited at 171-172 (177 on the speedo). I don't believe 174 is the top speed without the limiter. It still had power when I was up there. Maybe they were at a high elevation or going up hill when they observed 174 as the top speed?

Unless we can remove the limiter at some point we'll never know for sure...

Edit: My bad. I misread your post. I read online somewhere that the top speed with the limiter removed is 174, so I thought that is what you were quoting. 200 mph top speed would be sweet in stock form (with no limiter). I can't guess what it will be, but I'm sure it's more than 174.

A e90 328i and a last gen CTS coupe 3.6 tried to race. Both cars actually wanted a roll from 40. I obliged and completely destroyed them. Don't know why they even tried.

Yep, i bet that got UGLY Quick! these cars are really sneaky fast, not a lot of torque but it doesn't take but a blink & you can go from 60 to 130 in a heartbeat

This car wouldn't be safe to drive that those speeds. Remember its a Luxury sports car NOT a Race car.

I'm sorry. Where did you get your engineering degree and when did you start working for Lexus?

I upgraded the suspension (Penske coilovers) and have had my car up to 156 at Pocono. The car is amazingly stable and there was more speed to be had just ran out of track. I did track at Pocono prior to the mods and it was impressive then. I mainly did the suspension for road courses. The speeds were achieved on the main straight.

That's what I was saying, Amazingly stable at top speeds.

For reference, my old 350z wasn't nearly as stable at 155 (stock limit), but I still took it over 180 many times (when no longer stock).
