Mark Levinson system Audio clipping????
So once in a while i hear a slight popping noise and the audio goes out completely on every source. The music is still playing but no sound at all. After the car is turned off for a while and started up again it comes back on. Very strange reminds me of when a amplifier goes into protection mode. The car only has 3700 miles on it and i only drive it 2 miles a day. Anyone else experience this ? I wanna bring it to the dealer but it happens randomly and only once in a while. I know they'll say they cant reproduce it or some other kinda BS

Thanks. i searched liked crazy to see if anyone else experienced this and no one has on the RCF. Never happened on my ISF . I wish i could find a way to make it happen so when i bring it to the dealer i can show them.

I had something similar happen on my ISF and they replaced two items so I cannot pinpoint the actual root cause. They replaced the amplifier and the rear powered subwoofer. One of them caused the problem as I never experienced the problem after the change out.

Thanks guys I Appreciate the input. I tried changing sources and turning it off and on. After the car is off for a while it works again. Not sure exactly how long it takes. Most of the time I park for work or put it in the garage I use a iPod threw usb and bluetooth only for phone calls. It happened twice since December when I picked up my car. My gut tells me its something with the amp. Cause when it clips out it reminds me of when a aftermarket amp goes into protection mode.

This has happened to me twice. Changing the source does nothing. It shows that it's playing something, but the amp has completely shut down. If you turn the car off and then on, it works again. It hasn't happened in a while. I'll just save it for my next service.

But its happened on a fresh start up when the car was off all night. So I feel like its not a over heating issue.
I cant remember if its happened when I wasn't using USB
