Default Carbotech brake pads for the RC-F who has them?

who has them?

what is your opinion?

where did you buy them?

I can find the rears on one site and the fronts on another, I would like to buy both sets from the same place.

the vendor post? yeah their site was one of the ones I checked, they only had the fronts and not the rears as I recall.

I was going to have the LSB done, but after reading many posts with people stating the replacement pads still have squeal and dust I think I am going to go the aftermarket route.

I've always used HAWK, and really like them, but I contacted them and they have no pads for the RC-F at this time with no expectation to carry them.

since the Brembo brakes on the RC-F are no different than the ones on a dozen other cars I suspect HAWK actually does have some that work, but they haven't tested them or figured out which part number it is.

We have always had both fronts and rears available! To my knowledge we are also the most aggressively priced vendor selling these

I was on your site looking by the part numbers I got from the Carbotech site and it kept telling me nothing was found for rears.

Thanks for the link.

We've had customers pickup a Carbotechs and it resolved the excessive brake dust issue that some customers have been concerned with, so definitely a +1 on Carbotech.

I've heard pros and cons of running carbon tech. Yes it will rid of the brake dust issue but i hear the stopping power isnt as great as the OEM pads.

Not sure if this is true but my buddy who's a tech at Lexus told me this.

I have yet to drive an RC F but I find it hard to believe the original pads could be much more aggressive than the Carbotech 1521 compound. I could see them having a little less initial bite (not necessarily a bad thing in a street only pad) but overall friction levels are more than enough to lock up/engage ABS without too much effort.
