Added the new RR Racing Titanium Intake and Apexi Power Intake Filter

Special thanks to Rafi and RR Racing and Josh @ Mod in Japan for the filter.

While I'm still torn with what exhaust to buy, this was a well needed addition. I feel like the car is oh so slightly louder due to intake sound, but really I think it's the active sound activator. This mod is more about efficiency than power. Everything was super easy to install and all the coloring matches the lovely intake manifold. Just wanted to share.

Enjoy!

Thanks for looking

Can't really tell from the pics but did you also purchase the A/F seperator from them? If so can you post pics of that as well? Thanks

The long blue hose is indeed the AOS or Air to Oil Separator. After being on the track with Rafi in the RR Racing ISF, I saw first hand how important this was for the motor and the pvc blow back. He filled his AOS after one track session, yet in the winter ( here in DC ) I haven't seen the AOS level rise. Some trimming of the engine is needed, yet it can be installed without doing so. I personally, like the ease of access. Its a safety mod. Minor performance gain.

The intake itself is a minor gain, just do to airflow and now having a direct path. I feel the car is more attentive and in-line with the gas pedal yet wouldn't say an gain is had. Both mods fall more into the realm of making the engine work more smoothly and without " bog" vs a true performance gain.

As mentioned, I'm still on a 100% stock exhaust setup so its hard to tell if sound was increased due to the fake intake noise being pumped into the cabin.

After some driving time. Apexi filter and RR ti tube equates to a 2-4 mpg increase in city driving

Highway driving with Eco mode in normal net a 24 mpg trip.

I've never seen mileage like this in my car. Just sharing
