Default ISF VS M4 1/4 mile

I found this video on youtube. I thought I post this here since ISF is similar to RCF.

Dont know if you guys noticed that this M3 is equipped with a BMS JB4 set to map 7 (100octane race gas), which dynos at around + 75 whp over stock...the 11.2 quarter mile time should also serve as a hint that it's not stock...

Quicker than a stock GTR in the quarter? Not even close to stock. Yes, the M3/M4 beat our RC-F handily, but not anywhere as bad as the video above. It's like comparing apples to watermelons. Find stock vs stock or don't bother man.

I've been to the track a few times already and yet to see an M3/M4 run less than 12.6. Most of them actually ran 13's and 14's because the drivers have a difficult time getting the most out of the cars. I've also seen the ATS-V run 12.4 consistently.

Not if they are equipped with DCT and launch control. M3/m4 can do low 12s consistently. Manual fanboys always think they can shift faster.

I agree, the M3/M4 is definitely capable of low 12's. My observation has been that most drivers won't consistently run those times. Also, all of M3/M4's I've seen were DCT, yet to see a manual version at the track.

problem is...no one really knows how to use the launch control because it doesnt modulate wheelspin. its the worst LC that ive ever seen. all it does, really, is hold the revs. when you 'launch' you will still have to pedal it or you'll get a ton of wheelspin.

so...while the CARS may be able to do low 12s consistently....it cant be done across different drivers. and thats all because of their lame LC...

Agreed... Everyone knows that. However if the RCF weighed as much as the M$, then it would be a different story. The 300 lb excess weight is what kills the RCF.

Could have not said it better myself. Lets put the M4 against this RCF and then see what everyone has to say?
