Default RCF secondary gas pedal travel?

I'm new to the RCF, have had my USB for only a week. When you put down the gas pedal there seems to be a fake "end"/floorboard; but if you press a bit harder there is more travel (and more craziness ensues.)

I did a search and did not find this information anywhere. An interesting and fun surprise!

Maybe that explains the 2 sec lag?

The IS and NX also have this "step". You never noticed it on your prior RC F Sport?

It's a switch under the pedal. Not sure if it actuates a kick down for the transmission or ?

There's a couple threads on this in the ISF section. They call it the kickdown switch. You really have to mash it if you want the most aggressive downshift in auto.

Is that the only reason for it?

For those of you who drive regularly in auto and want to "go," just smash it.

Yep. But it's mostly useful in the milder modes, where the tranny is more reluctant to downshift as aggressively. When you trip that switch, you suppose to get maximum acceleration regardless of mode. Also remember sport and sport+ accelerate the throttle mapping, so by the time you reach that 'switch', you're at WOT already, so you feel nothing extra happening there as far as acceleration. And if you're in manual mode, it has absolutely no function... but you can still feel the detent.
