Default Wrap - who has done it / what's it cost

Looking to wrap my chrome trim and maybe the roof / wing on my white RCF

For those that have done it, what's the cost? I'm trying to keep a few folks honest and I'm getting some crazy numbers. Some say up to 1k.

Any assistance is appreciated

I'm doing my chrome trim and roof next month, I was quoted $250 for matte black roof and glossy trim.

Wing was another $50. as was the hood vent (considering making the vent matte black as well).

I'm in Southern California, so there are shops on every corner that do this.. I've used the same guy for my last 3 vehicles doing similar stuff to them.

I'm thinking about doing the same thing but do a liquid wrap instead. So far I was quoted 200 for the chrome trim around the windows and 100 for the chrome around the grill.

Advice from experience : If you are going to wrap your chrome trim make sure you take it to a reputable shop that can do it right because our trim doesnt really have creases to tuck the wrap in it so it has to be a precise cut to look clean. I had a shop do it for cheap in my area and eventually removed it because it started to peel and bubble which makes it look cheap.

I paid $120 for gloss black window trim with a 2 yr warranty, it was done by a very reputable wrap shop down here in S.FL. He offered to do the roof and wing for $200 more, but I only wanted the trims.

Would you be able to post a few picture of the gloss trim? I'm undecided between gloss black or matte black.

To answer your question regarding just a few components being wrapped, the guys I had wrap mine offer a carbon fiber package. They will do the hood, roof, gas cap, mirrors, and spoiler for $1400. Also, I considered doing the car in a full chrome wrap but, it was going to be about $5000 that's why I opted for the matte apple green and gloss black.

Hey bud,

Take a look at the Tints thread, you'll see a couple pics of mine and a few other members with matte black. Should be helpful.

I'd encourage you to wrap the roof yourself. I just wrapped some interior pieces on my new 2015 Tahoe and it was easy. I can only imagine a huge flat surface would be even easier. As for the chrome pieces, I wouldn't wrap those. As someone stated, there isn't anywhere to tuck. Pay a body shop to remove them and paint them.

Hopefully I'm not hi-jackng the thread.. I too am looking to wrap my ct200h.
I have yet to get a quote, but this is what I'm looking to achieve (full body, plus wheels):

I'm thinking high gloss/matte or iridized pearl.
My car's current color is steel gray, or thereabouts.

Does anyone have any idea what it would cost? i live in Phoenix, AZ, if that helps. So far, I only found one distributor of dip-your-car products here, and they also do the work.
Thank you in advance
