I was gonna mention this too! Definitely sounds similar. Getting me excited to do this soon. I think the lc500 will have an active exhaust.

Finally took the plunge. It's awesome. Real natural. Noticeable at startup and under throttle. Otherwise pretty much stock.

Only driven a few miles this am, but definitely no regerts.

Thanks for the help everybody.

It took you LONG enuff', Lol! Glad you finally decided to do it though & Glad you like it. I pretty much felt like you did too though, I was hesitant of it being a Bit too Loud but to me it's just what I was wanting.

Glad this thread has helped. Such a low cost/low risk mod that anyone who is inkling for more sound should try this first.

Ha-ha. It did take a minute.

It was really a matter of scheduling and the motivation to seek out a reputable muffler shop who didn't hear RCF and add a premium to it.

Another vote for Just Do It!

^ yup

After the install, the car became so responsive that I rarely switch it out of normal driving mode.

only complaint is the borla exhaust tip doesn't look as good and fill the exhaust bumper cut out as stock.

So the RCF only had resonator delete or what?

The Corvette had what mods to the exhaust OR totally stock?

I like them both!!!

I forgot to put in RCF is stock only had resonator delete and Vette is stock all the way. Job done in 20 minutes and it costs me $120 at local exhaust shop. I'm so happy with this low cost mod and it sounds much much better.

Sounds great. Can't wait to do mine.

Question : How easy or difficult to restore back to "original " down the road if needed? What I'm worried about is my HOA complaining it is "too loud"? But if I'm keeping my original tail pipes, it looks "STOCK". Several months ago a souped up rally racing looking Subaru WRX STI fully decked out with an obnoxious exhaust system (or lack of) got banned by the HOA. Every morning when he starts, it sounded like a lawn mower without any mufflers and literally shakes the windows if your windows are facing his rear pipes.
