Finally got around to downloading the Enform app on my Galaxy S5, and immediately started having issues with Bluetooth connectivity to my RC F. It would drop out every couple of minutes and was really annoying.

I unloaded the Enform application and Bluetooth is solid. Anyone else having trouble with this?

did you have the phone plugged into the USB port on the vehicle.


it's been reported by many that you can't have it plugged into the vehicle USB and connected to Bluetooth using the Enform App, the app causes the phone to fight between the two output sources.


most have purchased a USB cig lighter device to be able charge the phone and strictly use Bluetooth for audio/hands free.


others like myself who hate the sound of audio over Bluetooth don't use the enform app and have their phone plugged to the usb connection and stream over wire.




IMO Enform is a really crappy App, for the premium price of a Lexus one would think they would put some effort into their app suite.


the Pandora, Slacker, iheartradio, interfaces on a civic or a volt are far superior to the Enform system and don't require a special app to work, just a connected phone.

I have a SAMSUNG GALAXY S5 Phone also. It worked fine on the CT200H. BUT drops out every few minutes on the RC-F, LX570, AND RX450H! !! My wife and kids' iPhone 5s, 6, and 6S and HTC worked fine.

Maybe an excuse for me to get a more modern phone? 😊
