Has this happened to anyone?!
I was detailing my car today and when I finished...I tried to lower the Windows via the driver side switch.....
The passenger window didn't work. I had a mini panic attack and reached over then used the window switch on the passenger side - so that worked. Started to think that it was the driver side window switch. So, I Started and stopped the car. Locked and unlocked it. Still nothing. Ran and errand, lowered the Windows via the romote ( long hold unlock ) and everything was back to normal.
Every once in a while, I had issues with my 3rd Gen Is. Very intermittently the remote wouldn't work or the car would beep multiple times not let me in the drivers door. 5x out of a year this would happen with my IS. My RCF isn't even 5 weeks old. Starting to think Lexus has issues with their door actuators or maybe the remotes.
Car is fine now. Just scared the hell out of me thinking my new car was " broken " t
Has this happen anybody?

Was your battery disconnected at any point during your detail? When you disconnect the battery, the driver's controls "forget" the other window. All you need to do is fully click down and hold the passenger side control until the window is fully lowered. Then reverse the process on the way up, holding the passenger door control fully up until the window is closed again. The driver's side controls should now have "relearned" the passenger side window. Hope that solves the problem!.
