With my old iPhone 5S, incoming messages displayed when phone was connected in the car. Now with my iPhone 6S messages no longer display. I can't even find it in the phone settings anymore. Anyone else have this problem or know how to solve?

Under Settings > Bluetooth > click in the "i" where it shows Lexus RC and turn on "Show Notifications"

Any other changes to make? my messages look to be setup but nothing is coming through.

Does it only pick up sms/mms? or will it also pick up imessages?

make sure your phone is sharing the messages. also if you have alot of conversations on text with lots of back and forth with people the car cannot backup all that info. same goes for your email. Clean up your text and inbox and you should be good to go.

Also make sure under Settings>Notifications>Messages>Show on lock screen is turned on. And that the screen is locked. If you have the phone unlocked, it doesn't transfer.
